Welcome to Stan Jam! The official Home page of Stan Loh.

Hey…I can’t make up my mind. Sometimes I call myself “Stanley”

Those who know me may already know that I “dip my fingers in many pies”. My critics say that I would become master of none. Well, they may have a point…but I certainly am going to try prove them wrong!

There is a business part of me. Then there is also the play part. In both business and play, I go at them pretty hard. You see, I am the type of person who loves to win…in anything I do.

Right at the moment I wake up, I already know what I want to do or achieve that day. I hate to waste time. I am extremely fortunate to have an understanding family, warmed by my lovely wife and confidant, Mabel. I am father of two very intelligent and talented sons – Keith and Kevin. Kevin is the one who has designed Stan Jam.

I’ve called this page “Stan Jam” for two reasons:

One, I have a jam of business activities. Next I also have a jam of “play” activities.

Colombo Walk - my new song

Down By Colombo Walk

© May 12, 2007 Stan Loh Written while on a 3 month assignment in Sri Lanka

Verse 1

They come to the Galle Face,

The beach of saree mist,

Armed with umbrella’s grace,

They hide the bashful kiss.

Chorus

Down by Colombo Walk,

Watch the surf below,

Come down and make sweet talk,

Let your feelings grow,

Down by Colombo Walk,

They all sit in a row,

Down by Colombo Walk,

Where all the lovers go.

Verse 2

Red ones, blue ones, plaid and green,

Tents of the camouflage,

Umbrellas make real good screens,

Letting their dreams enlarge.

Repeat Chorus

Verse 3

Pledges in the burning sand,

Racing from the waves,

Undaunted they will write again,

Each message of the heart is saved.

Repeat Chorus
